Как сильно тормозит на практике кто нибудь может сказать?

Ну потрудитесь пролистать топик на пару станиц выше.
Основное применение плагина - подправить расположение элементов, их размеры, шрифты, css-анимацию.
Создаётся дополнительный CSS - файл в общем случае. И всё торможение заключается, в основном, в подгрузке этого файла.
Для более сложный вещей применяются билдеры.

Я это знаю. Читал. И как работает знаю. Я спрашивал на практике кто как на сколько использовал. Или все же с его помощью только шрифты да цвет менять
