Привет! Пытхит старый сервачок - мать GIGABYTE GA-8I945PL-G - по заявлению - гигабитный LAN (встроеный). Centos 7...

На ноуте 600 мегабит даунлоад! 300 аплоад!
На этом сервачке около 100 мегабит всего туда/сюда

Куда копать? Может где то дрова надо под чипсет этот?

из чего видно что проводной адаптер Broadcom Corporation NetLink BCM5789 Gigabit Ethernet PCI Express (rev 11) использует Kernel driver : tg3

а утилите ethtool нужно указать имя сетевого адаптера как в системе. узнать можно командой ifconfig
 
Активировал 1000 мегабит командой ethtool -s enp3s0 speed 1000 duplex full autoneg on

У винта скорость в байтах, а не битах
70 * 8 = 560 Мбит

Когда надо провести замеры без привязки к винту, создаю hdd в оперативке - там скорости работы с диском порядка 6GByte/s
 
на ssd я б не стал делать большие ставки.

123.56 MB/sec (бриближенное к реальности, возможно тест был более мелкими блоками, от чего скорость показал чуть выше)
Ключ -t ( Timing buffered disk) отображает скорость чтения с диска напрямую из буфера кеша, и является показателем того, как быстро жесткий диск может поддерживать последовательное чтение данных под Linux, без задержек, вызванных работой файловой системы.

Ключ -T (Timing cached reads) показывает скорость чтения напрямую из буфера кеша Linux без учёта доступа к диску. Этот показатель главным образом отображает работу процессора, кэша и оперативной памяти тестируемой системы.
